Testuff Releases a New Version of its Test Management Software, With a Special Twitter Integration Feature
Company: Testuff Ltd.
Published: 04 November, 2009
Testuff Ltd., a provider of on-demand service for managing and executing manual software tests and for reporting defect, announced today the release of a new version of its test management tool, with a special new Twitter integration feature called Twistuff.
Testuff SaaS (Software as a Service) suite includes: Requirements management, test cases, test planning and execution, defect reporting, video recorder and player, time management, integration to all bug trackers and automation tools and much more. The new Twitter feature allows testers to receive automatic tweets about test results and testing progress directly to their Twitter accounts.
Testuff has been running for 3 years and has seen much success within the software testing community. The SaaS based tool is in use by over 2,700 companies, from over 40 countries, from all continents. The company sees this service as a first step towards validating its technology and creating an initial customer base, before launching additional services and products.
Arik Aharoni, CEO and Co-Founder of Testuff, says: "Testuff is dedicated to serving the testing community worldwide. As a SaaS based company, we are determined to continue releasing a new version every month, each with additional features and enhancements for the benefit of our customers." According to Aharoni, "Twistuff" will allow users of the Testuff service to receive tweets directly from the application, with full automation and user control. "Twistuff" can be used to automatically receive testing progress updates from the application, or to manually send messages (tweets) to colleagues.
This new option is just one of many unique features available with Testuff, some of which are the video recording ability and a unique test runner. The company plans to release the much requested Mac version of its service by the end of 2009.
