Spirofractal Screen Saver and Application generates cool-looking fractal, strange attractor, and cellular automata images, either automatically and at random, or based on parameters you set up. We were very impressed with the program's output, which goes far beyond the Mandelbrot and Julia sets you normally see in many similar apps. Run the program two ways: as a screen saver or as a typical windowed program with pull-down menus for adjusting its plethora of options. Several different kinds of patterns are produced, including C.A.T Fractals, Sierpinski Fractals, Complex Attractors, Quadratic Attractors, Wolfram Cellular Automata, and more. Save output as BMP or JPG files, or as Windows logo screens. Registration removes the shareware reminder messages that appear at the bottom of each screen. A screen saver-only version is also available in ZDNet Downloads. The price is the same, but the download is much smaller.(for Windows)
