The rating and voltage drop of PVC cables is given for both metric and imperial cable sizes. Powerfactor correction capacitor sizing is calculated to provide the maximum correction that can be statically applied to an induction motor, which due to the variations in motor characteristics, can be twice the magnitude shown in tables. Motor starting calculations display the correct selection of motor starters for induction motors and loads. You can easily match the starter to the motor and load combination, and see the effects of changing motor designs on starting characteristics. The starting characteristics can be viewed as a graph of start current and start torque.
