Daytrader is a comprehensive stock account management program designed to help investors keep track of stock transactions. The program organizes your portfolios into various accounts and keeps track of buy and sell transactions. When a buy and a sell occur with the same stock a summary action is generated. In addition, tax files are generated, sorted by the year to facilitate filing tax returns. Long and short tax positions are sorted out so that a sell that generates both long and short liabilities are properly reported. Default account information can be entered for each portfolio so that buy and sell expenses are automatically factored in. Multiple portfolios can be maintained. The program can run as a toolbar so that entries can be made while other windows are operative.
