Allows you to receive, log, display, and forward Unix-type Syslog messages. Kiwils Syslog Daemon can receive standard Syslog messages on UDP port 514, which can be sent from routers, switches, or Unix hosts, and displays the details on the screen. Once you have received a Syslog message you are able to perform a number of actions, such as logging the message to a file, forwarding the message to another Syslog Daemon, e-mailing the message via SMTP, and triggering an audible alarm with the system beep (or playing a specific sound file). In addition, you can launch an external program, such as a paging notification system, customize fonts and colors, and receive a daily e-mailing of Syslog statistics. The program runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.(for Windows)
