All communication is secure via SSL insuring that card numbers, authorization codes, and other sensitive information are kept safe. Install it in client applications or directly on your web server to provide secure credit card authorization to your web application. The credit card processor is VITAL Processing Services (formerly VisaNet). This system provides extensive credit card validation\; including, address verification (AVS) and checking against the list of lost and stolen cards. All Internet communication is done through SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) providing encryption and safety of all data passed. In order to be able to make transactions in this system, you should have a Vital approved merchant account. CCProcessing component takes this account number as a parameter, along with the customer credit card details and the transaction amount. The transaction process consists of Authorization and Settlement (data capture). The split transaction process provides flexibility in terms of different business models, as you can perform settlement either at the same time as authorization or perform settlements as separate batch jobs.(for Windows)
