AceControl is a security utility that provides a great deal of control over how others use your computer. AceControl enables you to establish both individual users and groups and to impose various security restrictions on each. It lets you disable special key combinations and mouse actions and gives you enough control to provide a very different desktop than the one to which you're accustomed. You can hide or disable your entire desktop, the Windows taskbar, and any components of the taskbar, including the system tray, Start button, and individual Start menu items. You can hide selected drives and Control Panel applets, disable DOS prompts and Registry editing, and hide selected desktop icons. You can also control exactly which programs are allowed to run by building a list of allowed or disallowed programs and imposing time restraints on each. Other features include network support, variable security for selected files and folders, and password protection for your PC.
