Amateur Radio Antenna Direction Finder Amateur Radio ADF (Antenna Direction Finder) can be used to quickly locate the correct heading for a directional antenna. The direction calculated will be the shortest distance (as the crow flies) between the latitude and longitude of the home QTH and latitude and longitude of the selected country or U.S. city/state. Except where additional locations within a DXCC country are listed, the antenna heading will be toward the center of the chosen country.
