AutoDesk MapGuide ActiveX Viewer (32-bit) delivers real mapping and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) functionality, allowing you to connect to, view, interact with, select and retrieve information through richly detailed maps. The MapGuide Viewer displays wonderfully dynamic geographical maps. For example, by using the plug-in's magnifying glass tool, a map of the U.S. can be progressively exploded into maps of individual states, cities, neighborhoods, and even city streets. Because MapGuide maps reside on database-driven servers, the demographic information embedded in each map can be continually updated. The four demo maps featured on the MapGuide Web site contain more than five Gigabytes of data, which should give you an idea of the great level of detail that the program offers. Evaluation versions of the MapGuide Server and the Authoring system are available from AutoDesk's web site.
