Bifocal Notepad is a simple Notepad replacement intended for use by the visually impaired. Bifocal Notepad controls are accessed through jumbo-sized buttons with large text labels, and all settings are saved automatically. The default screen font has been increased to a 12 point size, and may be increased to a very large 42 point size, with a choice of high-contrast backgrounds. All functions, including the file open and save dialogue box, have been replaced with easy-to-read versions, and all font size, type and background color controls have been conveniently placed on the main screen.
