BS/1 Professional is an integrated, network-ready accounting and time billing system. It includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and time billing modules.The accounting system includes multi-currency support for trading internationally. Taxes are flexible to facilitate VAT, GST, PST, HST, etc. Payables and receivables are tracked separately for each currency. The GL system shows revenue and expenses converted from foreign currency to domestic currency, so you can trade in multiple currencies while your books remain in domestic currency. Taxes are very flexible to facilitate VAT, GST, PST, HST, etc. in various countries.Invoices and checks may be handwritten or computer printed. User-defined financial statements can be created through a simple set-up process. GL account balances can be viewed on screen with drill-down to original source transactions.The time billing system lets you track client projects/jobs by priority and due date. Project leaders may be assigned to jobs, and job tasks may be assigned to general employees. Time is billed against the tasks which make up a job. The hourly rate charged is based on the "task type&quot\; or an optional custom rate for the task.BS1 Professional comes with sample data to provide a quick overview of the program's capabilities, and there is an optional Getting Started wizard to assist with entering initial data.The program has an intuitive interface, suitable for use by non-accountants while powerful enough to satisfy experienced accountants.
