CMAP is a comprehensive, yet compact, environment for numerical computation, graphics, and development of computational software. CMAP covers a wide spectrum of calculus, vector and matrix algebra, numerical methods, statistics, graphics, and visual user-interface elements for application programming. Ad hoc computation and application programs can make use of CMAP's powerful C-like programming language, which provides visual input and edit of data, and evaluation of expressions of vectors, matrices, complex numbers, and user-defined functions.
