Allocate more power to frontmost app. CPUPowerUp is a simple application that allocates more Processor Power to the frontmost application.By how much does it increase speed?I have been asked this question a lot because there are lots of applications similar to mine that claim to improve by up to 30%. I am distributing this free, so I am going to be honest from my experience and mishaps trying to tweak performance, using software alone it is ALMOST impossible to increase to that speed without affecting the Mac OS X multitasking abilities.
