Deprec8 is a Microsoft Excel macro application which generates depreciation schedules for tax and book purposes. The program computes 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20, 27.5, and 39 year schedules for tax purposes, using the IRS defined MACRS method with the half-year, mid-quarter, or mid-month convention.For book purposes, Deprec8 generates schedules of any duration with either the straight-line, double-declining balance, or the sum-of-the-years digits method.It also handles fiscal years that do not follow the calendar year as well as salvage values (for book purposes).In addition, it runs in Windows 9x.
