Echelon is an action-filled strategy game played in an alternative science-fiction environment. The once peaceful inhabitants of the Ring World have turned against each other. You can choose which of the three remaining species to play (the Aruthas, Eriins and Trasks).The aim is to build an advanced infrastructure, develop your weaponry and win the war. In the beginning you start with one building, your headquarters, a few vehicles and some credit. You have to use your resources most efficiently to build further buildings and vehicles, and accomplish your mission objectives. The basis of all production is having the mineral resources available.
