Scientific image processing/analysis. Exbem is an image processing and analysis software, designed for scientific, technical, and medical applications. It allows for the investigation of single images, as well as QuickTime movies, or live video sequences. The processing and analysis task can be configured in a very flexible way. In Exbem areas of interest can be defined arbitrarily in shape and number. Within these areas various operators, such as spatial filters, temporal filters, and diverse measuring procedures, can be applied to the source image data at the same time. Configurations can be saved as a project and, due to Exbem's multitasking capabilities, multiple projects can be processed at the same time. Measuring data is collected in a table for viewing, editing, and exchanging with other applications. Due to the object oriented design of Exbem and the extensive support of drag &amp\; drop and copy &amp\; paste, the handling of Exbem is very easy and intuitive and lets you rapidly obtain results.
