Exult for Windows is a project to create an Ultima 7 game engine that runs on modern operating systems. Exult is being developed in C++ (under Linux) using the SDL (Specification and Description Language) library to make porting to other platforms relatively easy. The current version lets you walk your animated Avatar around Britannia, hear music and speech, talk to NPCs, open and close doors, as well as identify items.
