ezBates Special Edition is the easy-to-use, inexpensive computer software that replaces your Bates Stamp automatic page numbering machine and does much more.The basic edition of ezBates prints page numbers consecutively anywhere on your exhibits and documents. Just stack your letter-size documents in your printer, start ezBates, fill in the data fields, click Print Next or Print All, then click Print in the pop-up Select Printer window. Your text andpage numbers are printed on your documents at the positiion and in the font that you choose.

ezBates Special Edition allows you to also print pages with a sequence of letters. Place the sequence's first letter in the Beginning Page Number/Letter data field and the sequence's last letter in the Ending Page Number/Letter data field. If you include a page number in the Preceding Text field, that page number will be printed on your documents and exhibits in front of your sequence of letters. For example, inserting the text "Bates_000158-" in the Preceding Text field and the letters "a" and "c" in the Beginning Page Number/Letter and Ending Page Number/Letter data fields, respectively, and clicking the Print All button will cause your pages to be printed as follows: "Bates 000158-a," "Bates 000158-b," and "Bates 000158-c."

With ezBates Special Edition, you can locate your text and page number at the same distance from the right edge on odd-numbered pages as from the left edge on even numbered pages, and vice versa. Then, when you print using a double-sided printer, your text and page numbers are at the same distance from the outside edge on the front and back of a page. By addingspaces before the preceding text and after the following text, you can position your text and page numbers at any distance you want from the left or right edge.

You can also easily print page numbers/letters and preceding text on standard sized labels instead of directly on your pages.
