FIS-Genesis is a comprehensive real-time technical analysis trading system. It provides a complete set of models and charting features, with real-time feed support and automatic chart updates for non real-time data. It can assist in the prediction and confirmation of price movements for any type of instrument in all kinds of market phases. Features of FIS-Genesis include: spreadsheet-like capabilities, a built in SQL query builder, fully customizable charts and layouts, printing capabilities and no restrictions to data sources or number of instruments that can be analyzed simultaneously. The system can access data from a variety of sources and is not tied to any data supplier. Data sources include real-time datafeeds (such as Reuters), any Windows-based application that supports DDE (such as Microsoft Excel), any database that supports ODBC (such as SQL Server and Microsoft Access) and any ASCII text file. As well as automatic data filtering, Genesis allows data to be manually corrected. Data on the spreadsheet corresponding to a chart scrolls as the user moves the mouse over the chart allowing erroneous prices to be detected and edited graphically.
