FractalTrees 2.0a1 draws silhouettes of fractal trees. FractalTrees X is a program that draws somewhat realistic silhouettes of binary trees with a fractal structure. It allows you to interactively change the properties of the tree, like the broadness, fullness, and number of branches. You can also introduce normal (gaussian) randomness into the length and angle of the branches. This program is basically a toy, but maybe you will find some use for it. Someone once used the previous version to decorate their website. Everything updates in real time now, so it can be fun to play with. The tree is truly fractal in structure, because it exhibits self-similarity. Even with random elements invoked, it is still statistically self-similar.
