These 'streamlets' can only execute within the agent environment and, unlike ActiveX, no registration is necessary.Applets are managed inside a database and the environment provides basic services to applet developers like user validation, role based access, security and transport services.This architecture integrates the full process cycle of software consumption, distribution, maintenance and development.
