Home Budget (16-bit) is an easy-to-use program to help you manage your money and create a budget by setting aside a portion of your income for various expenses. It uses a simple concept for budgeting. Each month you create budget transactions that automatically move your income into various expense accounts. It's like putting your income into various envelopes, where each envelope is for a different purpose (e.g. one for mortgage, one for groceries, one for spending, etc.). Then when you actually spend money on the various expenses, it comes out of the money in that envelope and is also recorded against the real fund account (e.g. CheckBook, Bank, CreditCard, etc.).
