Instant Boss is a motivational timer for timing work/break cycles with alarm reminders and dialogs to help you manage your time better and get more work done, while at the same time not depriving yourself of much needed break time.

Instant Boss is perfect for procrastinators and workaholics, alike.

The deafults are 10 minutes of work, 2 minutes of break, and this is repeated 5 times for a total of a 1 hour work cycle.

These values can be changed to suit your needs. The program will remember the values you used during your last session.

Set the amount of time you want to work, how long your breaks should be, and how many times you want it to repeat the cycle. Then just click the 'Work" button and Instant Boss will remind you when to take a break and when to work.

When it is time for a break, Instant Boss will give you the choice to keep working a little longer, take your break now, or skip your break and begin next work period.

If you decide to take a longer break, it will extend your break by 50%, and remind you again when your time is up, to get back to work.

Instant Boss will also keep track of how long you have worked today and how long you have worked since you first started using the program, and let's you know just where you are in your work cycle.

Instant Boss can be paused in case of unavoidable interruptions during both the work and break periods.

Instant Boss minimizes to your taskbar and closes to the system tray. It will continue to run from the tray, reminding you when to work or when to take a break.

For power users, there are command line parameters you can use to preset values for when you run Instant Boss. You can either use these from the Windows Run dialog or use them as shortcut targets to make running with different configurations easier and faster.
