Linguistic Tree Constructor (LTC) is a software tool for drawing linguistic syntax trees. Three \\flavors\\ of trees are supported: X-Bar [Jackendoff 1977], Role and Reference Grammar [Van Valin and LaPolla 1997], and \\Generic\\ syntax trees. The phrasal categories are user-definable, and arbitrary labels can be applied to each node. The latter support analysis in terms of, e.g., Rhetorical Structure Theory, other discourse-level analyses, RRG operator projection analyses, Subject-Object-Predicate analyses, etc. Both tree-views and bracket-views are supported. At word-level, interlinear text is supported, e.g., for glosses or lemmas. Printing and copying to clipboard are supported, as is unlimited undo. Both Unicode and non-Unicode fonts are supported.
