Lets you extract fields from a text file for later importing into a database. McXtract is useful for extracting fields in a text file containing fixed-width fields. You can select which fields to extract, and the data is stored in a newly created text file, each field separated by a semi-colon (or other character) and each record on a separate line. The names of the fields can be optionally added at the top of the results file.
