Microscope is a desktop utility which allows you to examine actual screen pixel arrangements. Microscope lets you display a magnified portion of the screen pointed to by the mouse cursor, which can be useful for everyone who designs user interfaces, Web sites, or does any graphics manipulation. The program features a precise mouse positioning grid, which helps you to control object alignments\; and a ruler for measuring pixel distances. In addition, the program includes a quick visual feedback on precise mouse movements, which is achieved by the Windows hooking technique. Microscope runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
