Microsoft Urban Assault is a combination real-time strategy and first-person action game set in a post-apocalyptic Earth ravaged by war and plague. You must build up an army of tanks, helicopters, and jets to defeat five hostile races and save mankind. Become one with the Machine as you lead the last vestiges of humanity back from the brink of oblivion.This demo contains six single-player levels, including two training mission levels. Each level exhibits a diverse sampling of vehicles, technology upgrades, and enemy adversaries found in the 41 levels of the full retail version. In addition, 2 multiplayer levels are available out of the 55 in the retail version. Both are playable over a LAN with IPX or TCP/IP protocol, and one can be played over the Microsoft Internet Gaming Zone.
