Allows you to record live MP3 streams from Internet SHOUTcast servers, so you can listen to the feed offline whenever you like. To record a stream, just enter a server address, select a file to which you would like to save the stream, and press the record button. You can specify the amount of the stream that you want to record. The program displays information about the stream, such as, stream name, URL, bit rate, and server version. Additional options let you search for MP3 servers by category, configure a proxy, and enter login settings. MP3 Stream Recorder does not actually play MP3 files, but it can launch your default MP3 player for you. It also works with your Web browser, so instead of clicking on a PLS file and loading WinAmp, you can set the program to automatically record.
