NavTools Lite is a complete astro-navigation application, designed to be used onboard yachts and merchant navy vessels as a backup to GPS navigation. NavTools Lite presents a list of visible stars and planets and calculates your position after two or more sextant observations. A dead-reckoning position is continously shown, based on previous position fixes. The program's features include support for waypoint navigation, the ability to calculate estimated time of arrival and required speed, support for using a geographical range of lights, and hurricane tracking.
