Network Y2K Scanner is a network discovery tool used to inventory the Cisco devices on your network. Network Y2K Scanner discovery engine discovers the structure of your network and the Cisco devices on it. The Network Y2K Scanner then uses this information to determine which devices are Year 2000 compliant and which devices require an upgrade. The Network Y2K Scanner can show you the IOS level that is required for compliance on each device. The information discovered about each Cisco device includes the list of interfaces and their types, bandwidth, operational and administrative status, MTU, MAC addresses, IP addresses and masks, running and ROM IOS levels, IOS family, feature set, image type, bootstrap ROM, card types and slot, hardware, software, and firmware levels for each card, number of ports on each switch card, daughter cards, flash devices and flash memory, chassis IDs, total and available processor memory, total and used non-volatile memory, and much more. All of this information is automatically stored in a database and can be printed or exported for use in reports or other programs. The Network Y2K Scanner can generate a Microsoft Access Database, so you can create your own SQL queries and reports.
