NT Event Monitor is an application that monitors the Windows NT Event log and visually alerts you to new NT Events. The program runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar. If you leave the mouse pointer over the icon, all of the available event log information is presented. It displays the number of events and the number of new events in the application event log, the security event log, and the system event log.The application alerts you by flashing a red ! in the tray icon. This can be configured not to flash by changing the options.
