OllyDbg is a 32-bit code level debugger. OllyDbg has an emphasis on binary code analysis making it particularly useful in cases where the source is unavailable. It runs as an ordinary process parallel to the debugged application and allows you full control over the application. OllyDbg recognizes procedures, API call parameters, switches, tables, constants, and strings. It dynamically traces stack frames, locates routines from object files and libraries, and allows custom labels and comments in disassembled code. The program supports conditional, logging, and memory breakpoints. As well, it understands MMX and 3DNow! commands, and writes patches back to an executable file.
