PowerArchiver 2000 is a full-featured archive manager. The program provides complete support for ZIP archives, as well as support for ARJ, ARC, ACE, BH, CAB, GZ, LHA, TAR, ZOO, XXE and UUE formats. It allows your archives to span multiple disks, and to require a password for extraction. You can include comments about each file in an archive, and easily rename files in an archive. PowerArchiver can integrate with the Windows Shell, making it easy to perform archive operations.PowerArchiver offers you the ability to drag and drop files both from and to Windows Explorer for automatic archive extraction and creation. It also features the ability to check archives for viruses, to convert archives between different formats, and to install archived programs directly from its interface. It comes with a tool for converting archives between formats, a tool for splitting ZIP archives, and a tool for extracting multiple archives at once. This program was formerly called EasyZip 2000.
