The PSWinCom Component Suite provides you with a PSWinCom.DLL file which is the only file needed to utilize the software. The main features of the component suite include: the ability to list, select, and configure a proper modem device to be used (TAPI)\; simple queue-management of messages to allow batch-sending\; the ability to send the messages in the queue to a short message service central (SMSC)\; the ability to keep track of the sending progress and results through events\; and the ability to receive and send messages through a cellular phone connected directly to your computer.PSWinCom Component Suite supports the following protocols: telocator alphanumeric input protocol (TAP)\; universal computer protocol (UCP)\; and the AT+C command set. The TAP protocol is also known as PET or IXO.The UCP protocol consists of several different operations, and PSWinCom Component Suite supports the most often used operations.AT+C is a proprietary sub-set of the AT command set developed by Nokia. It can be used to send and receive SMS messages through a Nokia Cellular Phone connected to your PC by Nokia Cellular Data Suite 2.0 (cable and driver).
