Allows you to keep your sensitive data on a protected disk or virtual disk. The protected disk (CD-ROM, Jaz, Zip, and so on) or virtual disk has the functionality of a common disk, but all its content is encrypted when it is written. PTS StrongDisk provides strong encryption algorithms, such as Triple DES 112, CAST 128, SAFER 64, and Blowfish 128 for data encryption, and MD5 and SHA hash algorithms for password security which increases the strength of encryption. Any type documents, tables, and databases can be kept on protected disks and opened directly from these password-protected disks. The content of a protected disk is physically stored within a common file, which lets you easily create backup copies. In addition, mounted protected disks can be shared on local networks, and any protected disk image file can be sent to those who do not have the full version of StrongDisk. They can use the free read-only version to access a protected disk without the ability to write anything to it.
