Racing in the Wind: Sailing is a strategy/arcade sailboat game. In Arcade mode, you maximize your score by playing as many levels as possible. You gain points by picking up different types of flotsam (bottle, carton, fuel can, etc.). Points are added for speed, but be careful not to go outside the course limits, take too long to get round the course, hit buoys and mines, and set your spinnaker when not running downwind. All these result in the loss of a boat. Run out of boats, and the game is over.In Racing mode, the aim is simply to get around the course in the shortest possible time. The 3 best times are kept for each of the courses. The courses correspond to the levels in Arcade mode, but there is no flotsam or mines.Racing in the Wind features 3 levels of difficulty. The "easy&quot\; level lets you set the boat's course and control the boom. The "medium&quot\; and "hard&quot\; levels add jibs, spinnaker, and more challenging wind conditions.
