RedHand Pro is a full-featured Windows access control and activity monitoring system for your standalone PC or network. The program maintains a password-encrypted log file that records the user, usage times and title of every program accessed on your computer. It runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar, or invisibly in a "stealth&quot\; mode. In this invisible operation mode, RedHand can provide discreet security by throwing up false error messages when a user approaches locked areas. Alternately, RedHand can provide full-blown security by replacing the entire Desktop and time-limiting access to the machine, its software, or its devices (such as modem). Protected policy controls can remove features like "Run,&quot\; "Find,&quot\; and "Control Panel&quot\; from the Start Menu. The program provides additional Internet security that can prevent users from accessing certain sites or simply monitor their activity. It comes with a screen capture utility and a secure e-mail client.This "Pro&quot\; version of RedHand extends these features to a network, allowing an administrator to monitor activity on and lock any machine in the network. It can remotely control settings throughout the network, and warn of prohibited activity.
