Lets you display useful information about a file or folder within the Infotip shown by Windows Explorer when the mouse hovers over its icon. You can select to display a file's or folder's full path, creation and modification dates, type, size, and attributes, as well as target information for shortcuts, detailed version information for executables, and the contents of text files (entire or specified amount). Shell InfoTips allows you to insert a comment about any file or folder, which is also displayed with the other information in the Infotip shown by Windows Explorer, as well as add support for new file extensions or remove support for selected ones. It also includes support for plug-ins and ZIP archives, and can be easily disabled or enabled.
