SmartBoard 2000 is an excellent, invisible, and well-designed Clipboard enhancement utility. The normal Windows Clipboard can only retain a single item at a time. With SmartBoard, you can copy, paste, save and restore multiple items. You can collect items copied to the Clipboard and paste them back days or weeks later with a single mouse-click. Unlike other Clipboard utilities, SmartBoard runs as an invisible task in Windows - there is no icon cluttering up your desktop. Simple mouse-clicks or hot-keys pop SmartBoard up on top of your current application. This allows you to select the "Clip Item&quot\; you want to paste. Once pasted, Smartboard disappears out of your way. The unique "Paste-Anyplace&quot\; popup menu can appear on top of the application your are currently working with, giving instant access to all your captured (and manually created) clip-items in a custom-categorized menu. You simply select what you want and SmartBoard pastes it straight into your application. SmartBoard supports all Clipboard formats, and allows you to configure it in exactly the way that works for you. You can assign nicknames to any of the items to help identification, and you can "zoom-in&quot\; on an item for a closer look. System-wide hot-keys allow you to associate a key combination with a particular item, then whenever you press the key combination the associated item is automatically pasted into the current application.
