The program can be used to sort and alphabetize any type of text data that has consistent column delimiting such as log files, text output spreadsheet data, stock data, text mail merge lists, and more.Sort N Slice can skip header lines, use regular expression search and replace to modify the contents of specified columns, and sort on multiple keys: ascending, descending, or none.The delimiter is configurable and the program has a step-by-step user interface that lets you determine the correct processing parameters in advance.In addition, you can pad fields and remove repeat lines. Command line switches and scripts are available to easily manage frequent operations. Changes are written to a separate file, and the program buffer is selectable.
