According to Matthew 2:13-15, the Holy Family visited the cities of Zeitun and Assiut when they fled to Egypt about 2,000 years ago.The Holy Family Journey in Egypt is a text file which combines Biblical verses and Christian study to tell about the time following the birth of Jesus and his family's flight into Egypt to escape the fury of King Herod. The text is accompanied by beautiful images that display icons of the Holy Family. This program also includes a detailed map of the suggested route which the family followed. You are able to left click on any area of the map to display more details. In addition, within each area there is information and photographs of different cities, towns, and villages along the route with artifacts, monasteries, churches, and icons dedicated to the Holy Family.
