TrainTrax is an easy-to-use cataloging and organizing system for the model railroader. You can record up to 16 fields on each model (model and prototype information, and various notes). Although TrainTrax was designed primarily to catalog model railroad rolling stock, you can also record information on the buildings, vehicles, and other non-railroad models that are on your layout. The program lets you display and print lists based on the model railroad, model category, and scale or model manufacturer. You can also keep track of the value of your model railroad, print insurance reports by category, and print insurance summary reports for the value of the entire model railroad collection. TrainTrax includes customizable pick lists for entering the railroad name information, equipment category and model scales, and sample files for the first time user. In addition, it includes a built-in backup and restore function, and the ability to personalize your printed reports.
