X - Beyond the Frontier is a 3D action space simulation. You end up alone and lost in a completely undiscovered part of the universe. Against you is the firepower of more than 10,000 potential enemy ships. It's up to you to either fight or make sure these ships don't become your enemies.You can increase your bank account, as well as your popularity with newly discovered races, by trading many different goods. If you succeed in establishing your own factory you can also produce goods to trade.You can travell through a web of hyperspace gates which connect systems in all the corners of the most distant galaxies.Note: This demo comes with Microsoft Mediaplayer, which you have to install to enjoy the game with full music and speech support.
