Z-Desk is a full-screen desktop manager inspired by Star Trek. Z-Desk was designed to resemble computer displays in Star Trek: The New Generation and Star Trek:Voyager. It runs on top of your desktop, but behind any application windows, as a full-screen, borderless application. It allows you to start programs and desktop items, set up "Personal&quot\; shortcut folders for different users, establish Dial-Up and HyperTerminal connections, access Control Panel applets, launch links from your Favorites folder, list and switch to user tasks, display system information, and shutdown or restart your system.
